1. Through the disposition of our tests we were able to confirm the results obtained byMirsky and collaborators, who have proved already that the severe resorption disturbances in cases of pancreoprive diabetes are the cause for what may appear as an “improvement” in cases of alloxan diabetes after total pancreatectomy.

Aus unserer Versuchsanordnung heraus konnten die Ergebnisse vonMirsky und Mitarbeitern bestätigt werden, die bereits nachwiesen, daß die schweren Resorptionsstörungen beim pankreopriven Diabetes die Ursache für die scheinbare “Besserung” eines Alloxandiabetes nach totaler Pankreatektomie sind.
